The Aspen Wedding with Luxury Drapery Design

This wedding in Aspen featured stunning mountain views and the perfect weather. Planned by Mindy Weiss, with an earthy green color palette creating a soft and elevated atmosphere.

The reception area was held in a clear tent amongst the lake views, we used velvet olive draping on both the exterior and interior. This approach to luxury draping gave the entire space a cohesive look. It also framed the scenery and made the environment feel warm and inviting.

Draping and Custom Table Fabrications

Inside the tent, we installed sheer olive green ceiling draping. This light fabric softened the space and added an airy feel.

We paired the draping with Avignon chandeliers in a mix of sizes. During the day, sunlight filtered through the fabric and created soft shadows. At night, the chandeliers gave off a warm glow. The clear tent allowed moonlight to shine through, adding to the romantic setting.

The cake table stood out as a key design feature. We created a custom fabric in satin ivory fabric and included a waterfall like table skirt, which added movement and texture. We repeated this detail on the fruit tables to keep the design consistent.

The ivory tones contrasted beautifully with the olive green draping. This detail highlighted the luxury draping used throughout the space.

Bar Design and Custom Details

We refinished the Santa Barbara bar in a rich brown tone to match the color palette. We then built a custom barback and added a personalized wallpaper.

A wood-framed mirror completed the look. It reflected the lighting and décor, making the space feel larger and more open. It also enhanced the surrounding luxury draping by adding depth and dimension.

Outdoor Lounge Velvet Green Furniture

The outdoor lounge area included our furniture pieces where guests could relax and enjoy the views of Aspen. This space gave guests a place to gather while still feeling connected to the event.

We used Toulouse club chairs and sofas to pair them with Aspen coffee tables. The furniture complemented the olive tones and overall design.

The clear tent allowed for a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, keeping the natural setting at the center of the experience.

This event shows how Aspen wedding draping and thoughtful luxury draping can completely transform a venue. Draping adds softness, depth, and structure while tying every design element together.

From the ceiling to the tables, each detail worked as one cohesive design. The result felt elevated, intentional, and memorable.
