Sarah Jon and Bryan’s Western-Chic Ranch Wedding

When a couple decides to get married on their own ranch—after ten years of love, reconnection, and dreaming—you know it’s going to be special. So we rolled up with trucks full of custom builds, fabric, florals, and all the creative chaos we love.

Sarah Jon and Bryan’s wedding, featured in Green Wedding Shoes, was a total mix of charm, personality, and Western elegance. Think denim and diamonds meets lush green Palm Springs vibes—every part of this wedding felt stylish, personal, and just plain fun.

Brunch at Rancho Capistrano Winery

The weekend kicked off with a stylish brunch at Rancho Capistrano Winery.

We kept the vibe relaxed but elevated with a mix of our Tulum Collection Dining Chairs and custom oatmeal linen seat cushions with piping for texture. With vineyard views and soft golden lighting, this moment was the perfect intro to start off the wedding weekend celebrations in an elegant, outdoor setting.

Welcome Party: Denim & Diamonds

If you’re getting married on your own ranch, you start the weekend with denim. Obviously.

The welcome party leaned all the way into the denim-and-diamonds theme. We hand-ripped over 180 denim pennant flags, built a 10’ x 8’ denim tassel wall, and styled the space with Palm Springs Collection Dining Chairs in suede. Butterfly Floral added massive denim “blooms” that turned the whole space into a modern fashion moment.

Guests showed up in cowboy boots, rhinestones, Canadian tuxedos—you name it. It was laid-back, playful, and the perfect kickoff to the weekend.

Cocktail Hour

Over a six-day install, we turned an empty gravel lot into a full-fledged event venue. The 180-foot gravel path was transformed with a custom black and white checkerboard runway from Trejo Dance Floors, creating a grand entrance that felt part runway, part fairytale.

Cocktail hour took place before and after the ceremony (yes, guests got a second round), and it was packed with thoughtful details.

We layered in a mix of black and rattan textures using our Bora Bora Wood and Rattan Bars, Channeled Boucle Barstools, and striped Marble Ibiza Coffee Tables. But the real scene-stealers? The three fully custom installations we built for the weekend- the olive oil escort card wall, cowboy hat bar, and popcorn bar.

Olive Oil Escort Card Wall

The olive oil escort card wall was an absolute standout—a 14-foot custom built freestanding wall lined with personalized bottles and adorned with sconces, shelves, and florals. It blended function and style, offering guests a charming and interactive first impression of the reception experience.

Cowboy Hat Bar

The cowboy hat bar was created using our Reclaimed Wood Panels and custom beams to hang our very on-theme Cowboy Hat Pendant Lamps. The hat creation station centerpiece was our Curved Carmel Bar customized with a green velvet channeled front, black top, and gold foot rail- all of which popped against the wood backdrop.

Also custom created inside: a neon sign, hat hooks, and hat racks, to give the Rancher Hat Bar squad everything they needed to personalize custom cowboy hats for guests.

We designed the space so guests could hang out and lounge while waiting in line so we stocked the area with our Pony London Club Chairs, Cowhide Area Rugs, Monaco Sconces, and Metal Accent Tables.

Guests tried on their hats, then hitched a ride on our Montana Horse Saddle Barstools to check out their new flair in our Wavy Full Length Mirror!

Popcorn Bar

The custom popcorn display creation was an absolute hit with guests (and our followers on Instagram!) After the event, we had several companies and guests reach out, wanting to not only rent the popcorn bar, but purchase it for their stores!

Ceremony

Although Revelry wasn’t involved in the design of the ceremony space—it deserves an honorable mention as it was an absolute showstopper. Set against a lush green backdrop, the aisle was layered with florals from Butterfly Floral and featured custom moss sculptures of the bride’s five dogs—who later walked down the aisle in floral collars.

From the bride’s pearl-detailed Ysa Makino gown to the groom’s custom suit lined with a photo collage, every detail felt heartfelt, personal, and completely true to them.

Reception

The reception space was transformed into a bold, modern atmosphere with a custom truss structure measuring 89′ x 57′ x 14’H—fully clad in custom-built black semi-gloss wood for a sleek architectural statement. Black fabric wraps and custom base covers added a seamless, polished finish to the staging and rigging, while still allowing top truss access for lighting cables.

Lighting played a major role in setting the tone. A curated mix of statement fixtures—including our black Two-Tier Wood Bead Chandeliers, Iron Nantucket Open Cage Chandeliers, Panama Concrete Pendants, and Palm Springs Pearl Glass & Brass Pendants—cast a warm, ambient glow throughout the space.

At the center of the celebration stood our custom Bora Bora Bar, a 12’ painted black and white wood bar accented with rattan detailing, paired with a coordinating curved barback featuring built-in alcove shelving. Bora Bora Rattan Stage Fronts created a cohesive, elevated look on stage, layered over risers to give dimension and height.

Add in Heritage Barbecue’s dinner spread, SIP SIP Mobile Bar’s cocktails, and music from Sega Genecide under the stars—and you’ve got one unforgettable wedding.

Congratulations to Sara Jon and Bryan!
