Magical Santa Barbara Wedding with 10,000 Pounds of Florals

From start to finish, Megan and Justin’s custom wedding in Santa Barbara was pure magic!
Nestled along the pristine shores of the Pacific Ocean, Rosewood Miramar Beach served as the perfect backdrop for every stage of this luxurious wedding. Over the course of a sun-drenched weekend, every moment was infused with bespoke elegance, thanks to custom fabrications, pristine draping, gorgeous decor, and over 10,000 pounds of florals by Mark’s Garden!

Designed by our dear friends at KED & Co and Mark’s Garden, this wedding wasn’t just an event—it was a feat of artistry and logistics. The chic color palette of white and silver blue called for an array of custom furniture, decor, draping, and bespoke fabrications to match.
Revelry Event Designers was tasked with creating unique furniture, fabric treatments, soft goods, and decor that brought the bride’s blue vision to life. So once the renders were approved and the design details finalized, our production teams got to work.
Behind the scenes, every department in our warehouse was moving full speed ahead to hit our deadline. Our carpentry team custom-built planter boxes designed to frame the cocktail hour space. These were then painted in white high gloss to match the Bora Bora Wood and Rattan Bar, which also received a fresh coat of high-gloss white for a cohesive, polished look. Carpentry also created custom panels for the reception that would completely transform the room (more on that later).
Our soft goods team took on the intricate task of creating embroidered monogrammed pillows with inverted pleats, custom piping, and the couple’s initial in a beautiful silvery blue. These custom details didn’t just elevate the seating card display—they made it one-of-a-kind. And with the mix of custom pillows, the couple got to take home four as keepsakes to remember their special day.

Another challenge was crafting new cushions for the Shakespeare Garden Chairs and matching Shakespeare Garden Sofas for the outdoor cocktail hour. Using white fabric with contrasting silver blue piping, each cushion was custom-tailored to fit the existing frames perfectly.
For the reception transformation, our fabric and sewing teams fabricated over 500 feet of custom white sheer treatments to create an ethereal, layered entrance to the reception and gorgeous backdrop for the ballroom. The Revelry team drove our install trucks from our Los Angeles warehouse to Santa Barbara on a Wednesday and didn’t return until the following Monday. The initial install days were dedicated to the ballroom and foyer setup. Day three marked the first event of the wedding weekend, with the team setting up for the rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour that night to ensure everything was ready for the following day.
Day four was officially wedding time! After the ceremony, our installation team remained on standby during the outdoor cocktail hour on the Rosewood Miramar lawn. As the evening progressed, the team swiftly transitioned the space as guests moved inside for the reception. The chosen color palette—a delicate combination of white and Verona Azure blue—set a romantic and timeless tone. Now, let’s explore what made each event unique.

The festivities began with a colorful, poolside rehearsal dinner that set the tone for the weekend. Enclosed by soft sheer linen draping, the space transformed into an intimate oasis. Our painted Bora Bora Wood & Rattan Bar, paired with the Gold Bora Bora Barback, became a stunning focal point, seamlessly framing the dinner and sparking conversation.














After the ceremony, guests were welcomed onto the Miramar lawn for an elevated cocktail hour and welcome party. Guests found their seats at the escort card table, dressed with our luxurious custom tablecloth featuring inverted pleats, blue welting, and the couple’s signature monogram.
For seating, we chose our Shakespeare Garden Chairs, Garden Sofas, and Giardino Dell’ Iris Dining Chairs with Round Coffee Tables. Custom cushions and Ottoman Pods with blue piping were created to echo the wedding’s palette, making the seating extra special. That’s why we live for our Standard Ottoman Pods and pillows, they can be customized to match any color or theme! Monogrammed pillows embroidered with the couple’s initial were scattered throughout the lounge areas, adding a touch of personalization and sophistication.
The centerpiece and showstopper was our completely custom 20-Foot Hyde Park Collection Round Bar with high-gloss top designed to match the custom-made planter boxes. The Boston Collection Round Barback with Plexiglass Tier Shelves paired perfectly with it’s pristine white finish.










As the sun set, guests made their way inside and were welcomed inside an enchanting tunnel of luxurious draping adorned with white and blue florals. Our draping team worked tirelessly to create this striking entrance, using over 500 feet of sheer fabric to craft a breathtaking walkway that set the stage for the celebration to come. Plus, peep the custom tablecloth we made for the entrance table- so cute!
Inside the ballroom, the transformation was equally spectacular, featuring a ceiling alone that held over 10,000 pounds of florals! The walls were enveloped in white velvet draping, pleated to perfection, with over 150 feet of fabric, spanning heights of nearly 19 feet. The lower sections featured an additional 230 feet of velvet draping, creating a cohesive and polished look that softened the expansive space. Custom velvet valances with silver blue accents tied the palette together seamlessly.
For the stage setup, we introduced all-custom elements to create a unique and grand focal point. This included painted moulded panels, columns, wood facade, stage lights, crystal sconces, and Austrian draping, which all added a layered elegance and depth to the stage. Our New York Curved Bars and New York Folding Bars matched the stage in a high gloss white while our Curved Alcove 3-Arch Barback had glass inserts and LED lights to really light up the space.
The dining tables were set with an assortment of Vancouver Chrome Frame Dining Chairs and Buenos Aires Dining Chairs, each with custom blue velvet cushions for an elevated touch. And for lounging, we brought our Segovia Sofas, Segovia Lounge Chairs, Chrome Mirror Top Coffee Tables and S Curve Velvet Ottomans. A custom mirrored cake table on casters was rolled in without missing a beat. Which then led to the after-party!











After first dances and speeches, the reception space was reimagined into an after-party that left guests in awe. We transformed the ballroom by removing the Austrian drape, revealing custom silver payette panels!
To make the switch easy, we used velcro to attach the Austrian drape to the silver panels so we could do a quick swap out for the after party. The silver payettes were perfect for catching and reflecting light off the mirrored disco balls above.
We also color matched our Boston Wood and Mirror DJ Front, blending wood and mirror elements to match the modern, playful vibes. And that disco lighting really made the blue florals sing.
