Behind the Scenes: Dick’s Sporting Goods Corporate Event

We were thrilled to be a part of this epic corporate event, planned and designed by Mindy Weiss for Dick’s Sporting Goods.

This digital campaign launch, “Click on Dicks.com” featuring Will Arnett and Kathryn Hahn, celebrated their recent television ads release with a sports-themed party in Hollywood. Mindy Weiss brought us on board to create custom sports-themed decor.

Our challenge was to create decor that not only resonated with the sports-inspired digital campaign but also embodied the sophistication and excitement of a Hollywood event.

Guests were welcomed into a world of imagination entering through an LED tunnel, draped in green, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. Inside, the venue came alive with custom-designed elements that paid homage to the world of sports, offering a cohesive and engaging experience for every attendee.

Custom Decor Highlights:

Event Draping: Our team meticulously selected fabrics and textures that reflected the brand’s colors and campaign’s vibrant energy, transforming the tunnel and inside space with green and black velvet.
Shoe Wall: We built this custom shoe wall using our hedge panels and plexi shoe wall holders. This standout feature showcased Dicks’ footwear in an innovative display that blended style with the theme.
Bar Front: Our carpentry team sliced open baseballs, tennis balls, racquets, and bats to create this one-of-a-kind custom bar front. Painted in Dick’s signature green hue, the bar was not just a place for drinks but a centerpiece of conversation.
Faux Leather Merch Bar: These elements from our New York collection provided a luxurious yet thematic way to display Dick’s Sporting Goods’ merchandise, blending seamlessly with the overall decor.
Merch Display Doors: These hand-painted prop doors served as entryways into themed rooms, each showcasing with Dick’s merchandise tailored to specific activities including golf, back yard games and studio.
Chandeliers: Perhaps one of the most striking decor pieces was our hanging sports chandeliers adorned with hand-painted basketballs and tennis shoes.

To complement the custom pieces, we brought out square dining tables from our Lyon Collection, London Collection leather club chairs, and our Acapulco chair set. Such a fun corporate event and a testament to the power of custom decor!
