How to Style Sheer Draping for Events

Sheer draping remains one of the most popular elements in luxury wedding design, especially for summer celebrations. It brings softness, movement, and atmosphere that instantly transforms any venue.

For this reception, we embraced the feminine, art-inspired aesthetic using layered sheer draping and sculptural details to create a romantic, immersive environment. The wedding was planned by Ked & Co, who worked with our team to create a cream-toned wedding. 

As guests entered, they moved through champagne sheer draping, arched cutout details, and cascading ceiling installations. Floral chandeliers and warm lighting added depth, creating an intimate, dreamlike atmosphere.

The Bar

Our Carmel custom velvet bar in a soft champagne tone to anchor the space. The texture added warmth and contrast against the softness of the draping, while layered sheers and candlelight made it a natural focal point throughout the evening.

The Draping Installation

For this wedding fabric installation, we used champagne sheer draping to transform a simple venue into a fully immersive environment. Ceiling draping and arched architectural cutouts added movement and structure, with our York chandeliers throughout the venue. 

The planner included Sculptural Venus of Willendorf-inspired details introducing an artistic edge, balancing softness with modern form.
