How to Transform an Italian Restaurant into a Luxury Garden Birthday Party

For this vibrant 60th birthday celebration, our client envisioned the charm of an Italian garden while celebrating at their favorite restaurant. Planned by Detailed Touch Events, the restaurant patio transformed into a lush, colorful escape inspired by the Amalfi Coast, filled with hand-painted décor, fresh florals, and cheerful lemon details.
Guests arrived through an eye-catching entrance featuring our signature prop pedestals topped with stunning lemon floral arrangements by Garden District Flowers. The bright blooms and citrus accents created the perfect first impression and set the tone for the garden birthday party inside.
The birthday design read “Club Monica 1960” on our Lattice Large Oval Backdrop in a custom vibrant green finish with a personalized inserted decal. Our team hand-painted the Limone Display Cart, creating a custom beverage cart for guests to enjoy. The display offered a playful, elevated take on a lemonade stand—perfect for serving cocktails and keeping the summer theme going.
For guest seating, our Garden chairs were custom painted in pink paired with white garden umbrellas featuring a vibrant lemon print and playful fringe. The bold pops of pink and yellow added warmth while giving the outdoor space the perfect garden charm.
