If you\u2019re looking for Mitzvah design ideas or luxury event inspiration in Beverly Hills, this transformation showcases how a neutral palette can create a bold, elevated atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Draping & Styling<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our Senior Event Designer, Milana, worked closely with planners to transform the ballroom into a fully immersive event space. The venue was divided into two areas: an entrance room and the main ballroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We installed over 750 feet of custom gray draping<\/strong><\/a> throughout both spaces, bringing the monochromatic Mitzvah theme to life. The soft layers of two-tone gray chiffon drape, created depth while maintaining a clean modern look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon entrance, guests walked through flowing draping paired with dim, ambient lighting. This created a dramatic and elegant first impression, setting the tone for the entire event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As guests entered the main ballroom, they were met with a statement draping installation cascading from the balcony to the first floor. This added movement, texture, and a sense of grandeur to the space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Custom Bar Feature<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The custom bar design served as a focal point of this modern Mitzvah. Our New York bar<\/a><\/strong> was wrapped in custom gray velvet fabric, paired with our Tiffany wood panels<\/a><\/strong>, and finished with a custom print between the shelves. To enhance the atmosphere, we added sconces<\/a><\/strong> on each side of the bar. We also incorporated a custom \u201cOH\u201d vinyl print, branding the space with the siblings\u2019 initials and tying the design into the overall event theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furniture & Layout<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The furniture layout focused on both style and functionality, creating a space that felt open, modern, and inviting. We incorporated circular ottomans<\/a> <\/strong>and coffee tables<\/a><\/strong> to soften the layout and encourage flow throughout the room. The Berlin serpentine sofas<\/strong> <\/a>acted as a central design feature, adding a sculptural and unique element to the space. Low cocktail tables<\/a> <\/strong>were paired with Vancouver dining chairs<\/a><\/strong> featuring a chrome finish. This added a sleek, contemporary contrast while maintaining the elegant gray color palette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This modern Mitzvah design at The Maybourne Beverly Hills highlights how thoughtful event styling, custom draping, and curated furniture can transform a space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
