When Nikki Khan of Exquisite Events and Youngsong Martin of Wildflower Linen asked us to create some fashion-forward chuppahs and canopies for their East-meets-West themed fashion show/formal tea, we didn’t hesitate to say yes.
Nikki and Youngsong wanted to create the perfect blend of style, romance and drama while feeling as if you’d traveled to Paris, India and the Hamptons; all in one afternoon. Sounds like the perfect design challenge for the Revelry crew.
The event began on the Rodeo Terrace at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel; and featured a fashion show with Wildflower linens transformed into haute couture gowns as Youngsong pinned them on beautiful models. The models then strutted down the runway; as guests sipped cocktails, to the Revelry-built acrylic-framed mandap decorated with flowers by tic-tock Couture Florals.
We’d like to thank Nikki Khan and Youngsong Martin for inviting us to be a part of this unique and very special event. A warm thank you also to John Solano Photography for the beautiful photos!Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Wilshire Hotel, canopy, chuppah, Eddie Zaratsian, Exquisite Events, fashion, John Solano Photography, Nikki Khan, runway, tea, tic-tock Couture Florals, Wildflower Linen, Youngsong Martin
