As originally featured on Inside Weddings: “The creative teams of Sterling Engagements and Shawna Yamamoto Event Design took a step back in time for their “1920s Vintage Seaside Romance” styled shoot. “We wanted to design something that stands up to today’s design standards, [while embracing] the vintage elements,” they explain. The historic Bel-Air Bay Club guided the ambience of the event, which featured a classic color scheme inspired by the selected linen. Constructed by Alphonzo Bell from 1927 to 1928 along the shores of Pacific Palisades, the property was intended to provide a beautiful place of leisure for prominent local citizens, socialites, and Hollywood celebrities. We’re so excited to share this close up of our very special and romantic photoshoot done in our inspiration studio for Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine‘s new website! Our inspiration room is always filled with gorgeous crystal chandeliers. We created several looks and transformed our studio using mirrors, a hedge panel and a soft sheer drapery. The featured table and chairs are from our Florence Collection and guest seating from our Versailles Collection. We went for a soft and romantic table design. Lace, Crystal, Antique China and Vintage flatware from Casa de Perrin tied it all together. Empty Vase provided the lovely blooms- we love the runner of lush florals down the center of the table. Bess Wyrick from Celadon & Celery Events styled and designed this stunning photo shoot for photographers at the Styling with Lady Grey Workshop. For the main vignette, she used our reclaimed wood beams with white chiffon draping, wooden beaded chandelier, and the Versailles Upholstered Dining Chairs. The “Ode to Coco” photo shoot took place at our warehouse in Los Angeles and it was simply incredible. We took pride in creating Nikki Khan’s vision for her tribute to design icon Coco Chanel. We constructed a silver and grey backdrop that consisted of hanging glass globes layered over fabric. Our two sparkling silver globe chandeliers with crystals hung above the table that was decorated with Exquisite Events‘ brand new handmade silver collection and amazing florals in pink, lavender and green by Hidden Garden Floral Design. Wildflower Linen dressed the table in custom-designed quilted chair covers that looked like Chanel bags and a luxurious velvet tablecloth.
