For Mindy Weiss we draped the Ballroom at the Beverly Wilshire for this amazing ceremony setting. Inside the Ballroom, we used the Versailles Upholstered Dining Chair With Wood Frame   for seating. Gorgeous images provided by Jose Villa and floral design by Mark’s Garden.

2001 Oscars Governors Ball

At the  73rd annual Academy Award Governor’s Ball, held for the last time at the historic Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Edgardo Zamora, CEO of Revelry Event Designers, made his debut as art director. Our inspiration for the event was the Edwardian Era, King Edward was the son of Queen Victoria. After the heaviness, clutter and dark colours of Victorian interiors, people wanted something elegant, new and cheerful. Edwardian style was a breath of fresh air. To create this opulent look we installed a hand painted fabric ceiling. The structural truss was slip-covered and a “Revelry Artisan” hand painted the Acanthus Leaf design. An Iconic Event Studios Bridal Tea Party

An iconic bridal tea party from Iconic Event Studios. The tent was draped with a sheer fabric and hedge panels were placed behind the buffets. The ceiling contrasts with black and white damask linens. Colorful hats, glassware and florals added a whimsical feeling to the event.
