On Saturday, October 5, 2013, the fourth annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, Los Angeles returned to the beautiful Will Rogers State Historic Park in Pacific Palisades produced by BrownHot Event Production. The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic benefited Will Rogers State Historic Park in an effort to support California State Parks. From BizBash… LOS ANGELES Recalling an earlier age of Hollywood pomp, the fourth annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic took to Will Rogers State Historic Park in Los Angeles on October 5. Working with Veuve director of communications Christine Kaculis, BrownHot produced the event once again with the chic, whimsical, and subtly branded details that characterize the annual sporting event. Celebs like Rachel Zoe, Kaley Cuoco, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Alessandra Ambrosio, Mandy Moore, and Lauren Conrad were among the guests, arriving in front of a 3-D step-and-repeat wall that was inspired by elegant garden picnics. BrownHot created a vintage flower stand with Veuve bottles potted as plants and logo plaques on wooden sticks growing from moss. More than 5,000 spectators watched international polo star Nacho Figueras... Read More

Here is a preview that will leave you wanting more! We spent the week prior to this wedding draping and prepping Gulls-Way in Malibu for a breathtaking wedding with Mindy Weiss. Every detail was thought through (as usual) by Mindy and her team. We hand painted the couples vows on an oversized mirror, draped around any tree that stood in the way and designed a show-stopping head table. Mark’s Garden created an over-the-top lush garden for the ceremony and beautiful floral art for the reception. Stay tuned for the professional photos from Elizabeth Messina. A special thank you to Mindy Weiss who shared all of these photos and more on her Instagram.

As seen on Junebug Weddings: “Nancy and Darshan’s extraordinary Santa Monica wedding was planned by Nikki and Madiha Khan of Exquisite Events, and will simply make you swoon! Both the bride’s Mexican heritage and the groom’s Indian heritage were celebrated beautifully, and it was all expertly captured by Southern California wedding photographers Lin & Jirsa. Enjoy!” The Process: Our planning experience was great because we had the help of many influential vendors with experience. We picked the location by picking a place near to our home, which has beautiful ocean views. The design process came from picking our favorite colors and adding some romance to the design. The main dinner room was transformed with lighting and drapery to fit the look we were trying to... Read More

Jamie and Eric’s wedding at Pelican Hill coordinated by Jeannie Savage of Details, Details Event Planning was as timeless and chic as they come. Records were set as the ceremony was flipped into the reception in 45 minutes! Can’t get enough of these chairs? Check out the Versailles Rattan Back Chair. From Jasmine Star… Her sister said to introduce herself and nudged her toward the living room. Jamie gave Emily an ambivalent look, but obliged her younger sister’s request. As soon as Jamie walked in the crowded room, her eyes fell on Eric and she lost her breath. Kind, charming, and handsome, his smile left her with butterflies in her stomach as she walked back to Emily. Both being in... Read More

As featured on BizBash The BET Awards took over the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live Sunday night, and although the awards garnered critical praise, the biggest story to come out of the show’s annual hoopla wasn’t on the big night’s main stage. Instead, the most noted development was that BET remade its annual telecast this year into a weekend-long event known as the BET Experience, a festival that drew thousands of fans downtown for music, yes—but also for panels, films, seminars, and more. Here’s a peek into some of the goings-on at the new BET Experience, as well as a look inside the annual BET Pre dinner, which brought V.I.P.s for performances and hobnobbing amid Events by André Wells‘s over-the-top decor. At the annual BET Pre... Read More
