The “Ode to Coco” photo shoot took place at our warehouse in Los Angeles and it was simply incredible. We took pride in creating Nikki Khan’s vision for her tribute to design icon Coco Chanel. We constructed a silver and grey backdrop that consisted of hanging glass globes layered over fabric. Our two sparkling silver globe chandeliers with crystals hung above the table that was decorated with Exquisite Events‘ brand new handmade silver collection and amazing florals in pink, lavender and green by Hidden Garden Floral Design. Wildflower Linen dressed the table in custom-designed quilted chair covers that looked like Chanel bags and a luxurious velvet tablecloth. Our previous post, The Art of Transformation Part 7: Fashion, received such a positive response that we’ve decided to turn it into a regular thing. We’re calling it Good Form and we’ll be creating a marriage of beautiful taplescapes, events and weddings with what’s haute now. It was a gorgeous day at the Ojai Valley Inn for Kristen and Austin’s Mindy Weiss wedding. We brought our beautiful Versailles tables and chairs for the reception and Mark’s Garden went all out with gorgeous florals hanging from the trees. The reception’s color palette in lavender, pink, green and yellow with roses, dahlias, succulents, hydrangea and herbs was beautiful and smelled great! Images by Lighting created a lovely mood and Charm City Cakes made an adorable cake that included Kristen and Austin’s dog! The Cake Divas also made dog-themed Milk Bone Cookies for the guests as a parting gift. We love it when people include their best friends in their wedding celebration!

The Grand Del Mar in San Diego is one of our favorite places to work! It’s not just the beautiful atmosphere, but their amazing staff; including the lovely Paige Levy, who makes us feel at home and is one of the best when it comes to top-notch service. The Grand Del Mar is situated in the breathtaking Penasquitos Canyon Preserve and is a Mediterranean dream! This Mindy Weiss wedding turned out to be gorgeous! The ceremony was held on the Aria lawn and the beautiful Moroccan Pavilion was in all traditional white tones with greens and moss as an accessory.
