What a great way to end a beautiful wedding! This tangerine and turquoise Mindy Weiss post-wedding brunch at a private estate in Malibu was beach chic. We created a custom-made tangerine bar that sat underneath a gorgeous Raj Tent and we decorated with some feminine white lounge furniture, ottomans and wood tables to complete the look. Mark’s Garden designed some stunning florals in tangerine, fuchsia, brown and green that were completely unique and perfect for this party. The “Ode to Coco” photo shoot took place at our warehouse in Los Angeles and it was simply incredible. We took pride in creating Nikki Khan’s vision for her tribute to design icon Coco Chanel. We constructed a silver and grey backdrop that consisted of hanging glass globes layered over fabric. Our two sparkling silver globe chandeliers with crystals hung above the table that was decorated with Exquisite Events‘ brand new handmade silver collection and amazing florals in pink, lavender and green by Hidden Garden Floral Design. Wildflower Linen dressed the table in custom-designed quilted chair covers that looked like Chanel bags and a luxurious velvet tablecloth. We had so much fun working on Bill and Giuliana Rancic‘s coed baby shower with Mindy Weiss! The beautiful couple is very happy to be having a boy and they’ve shared the news with the world. Giuliana was quoted in Life & Style Weekly: “It was great to finally share it with everyone. I’ve always wanted a little Bill — my husband is the most gorgeous guy in the world, and I want our baby to look exactly like him!” Bill added: “Her brains, my athleticism.” 100 of the couple’s friends and family attended the baby shower including guests like Melissa Rivers and Lisa Ling. This Exquisite Events modern engagement party at Pandora on Green was original and beautiful in a striking color palette of white, black and red! We covered the walls in a sheer white fabric to create a more intimate vibe and placed our silver ornate mirrors against the walls. We also created a modern lounge area with our white sofas, cushions and mirrored tables, creating a comfortable place for guests to socialize. We collaborated with Mindy Weiss and other amazing vendors like Mark’s Garden to create this beautiful Malibu wedding. We brought our Versailles tables and pine cone crystal chandeliers to complete the look. Mark’s Garden designed gorgeous Manzania branches with moss and amnesia roses in creams, blush and white. Guests were treated to individually wrapped fresh baguette which was wrapped in kraft as well as a bottle of wine produced by the winery with the same kraft wrapping. Wall Treatments are a beautiful way to complete an environment and create a mood. The right wall treatment or room divider can create a feeling of comfort, romance, and elegance. For the Grace Ormonde photo shoot (above) we created a textured paper wall that is still used for many weddings and events today. We’re always thinking about new ways to cover walls that are less than exciting; or trying out the perfect fabric to make a grand ballroom feel a little more intimate.
