Kristen and Austin’s Ojai Valley Inn Wedding

December 5, 2011 9:54 pm Published by The Revelry Team Leave your thoughts

It was a gorgeous day at the Ojai Valley Inn for Kristen and Austin’s Mindy Weiss wedding. We brought our beautiful Versailles tables and chairs for the reception and Mark’s Garden went all out with gorgeous florals hanging from the trees. The reception’s color palette in lavender, pink, green and yellow with roses, dahlias, succulents, hydrangea and herbs was beautiful and smelled great! Images by Lighting created a lovely mood and Charm City Cakes made an adorable cake that included Kristen and Austin’s dog! The Cake Divas also made dog-themed Milk Bone Cookies for the guests as a parting gift. We love it when people include their best friends in their wedding celebration!

A Beautiful Montecito Wedding

October 19, 2011 9:00 am Published by The Revelry Team Leave your thoughts

This Mindy Weiss wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara turned out to be absolutely stunning! The ceremony was in all white and Jeff Leatham did a great job designing all of the beautiful florals and the groom actually designed the wedding invitation using the adorable lovebirds! We took his lovebird logo and hand-painted them on our custom Revelry bar! The lovebirds were also used on the seating cards, designed by Lehr and Black and Peterson Event Lighting projected a gobo of the birds on the wall outside the ballroom, adding branches. The bride and groom also painted branches on canvas and the guests left their thumbprints as leaves on a tree.            ... Read More

The Book Bindery

If you’ve never been to the Book Bindery, you MUST go! It’s an amazing venue that at one time was a real book bindery in downtown Culver City’s art district. The University of California system bound their books for all of their Southern California Universities, and in 2010, this beautiful building was transformed into a fully functioning event space, while it’s architecture was carefully preserved. The Book Bindery offers two brick and beam spaces; the Brick Building (5,500 sq. ft) and the Book Bindery Building (13,500 sq. ft.), as well as a huge prep kitchen (2,500 sq. ft.) which can accommodate events ranging from 50-2,000 people. We love working at the Book Bindery because drive-on loading makes our job easier... Read More

Danielle and Mauricio’s Wedding

October 3, 2011 6:17 pm Published by The Revelry Team Leave your thoughts

We had the pleasure of working on Danielle and Mauricio’s gorgeous wedding with Mindy Weiss at The Bevelry Hills Hotel. The bride and groom wanted a softer look than the iconic hotel’s chandelier provided, so we covered it with lots of soft, silky fabric to create a new and interesting feathered look. The end result was an amazing and glamorous ambiance for their beautiful reception. Our Revelry tufted circular bar added to the glamour and went perfectly with the white, green and silver color scheme. Danielle and Mauricio even had a tequila bar complete with Patron, Don Julio, lime and orchids. The white orchids, roses and green hydrangea by Mark’s Garden were over the top and amazing!

Nicole and Stephen’s Wedding

September 23, 2011 9:00 am Published by The Revelry Team Leave your thoughts

Autumn has arrived, winter is on the way and we’d like to share some winter wedding inspiration with you! This winter wonderland Mindy Weiss wedding took place at The Regent Beverly Wilshire. Nicole and Stephen wanted their wedding and reception to look and feel like a snowy, enchanted winter evening. The ceremony and reception took place in the same ballroom and we only had 1 hour and 15 minutes to make the change-over from wedding to reception! It was a lot of work, but our Revelry artisans, (along with other amazing vendors, of course) got to work and made it happen. The acrylic chuppah accents, white orchid chains, roseball ceiling treatment, winter white trees, Revelry chandeliers and fabric created a... Read More

Julie and Paul’s Wedding

Julie and Paul’s wedding at Pelican Hill was absolutely spectacular! Their style and color scheme of red, cream and black is SO Revelry and we loved working on this beautiful Mindy Weiss wedding. The ceremony was all white-on-white and contained so many chic elements, like three different chair cover styles, Revelry’s crystal lamps placed on modern acrylic bases, white fabric draped from the gazebo, hand-made Magnolia trees and lots and lots of white orchids, roses and hydrangeas by Marks Garden. Julie wore a strapless Ines Di Santo gown and looked amazing! After the ceremony, the guests moved inside for a reception featuring a jazz quartet and red and black furniture designs by Revelry, including huge, ornate black glossy mirrors and... Read More

The Grand Del Mar in San Diego is one of our favorite places to work! It’s not just the beautiful atmosphere, but their amazing staff; including the lovely Paige Levy, who makes us feel at home and is one of the best when it comes to top-notch service. The Grand Del Mar is situated in the breathtaking Penasquitos Canyon Preserve and is a Mediterranean dream! This Mindy Weiss wedding turned out to be gorgeous! The ceremony was held on the Aria lawn and the beautiful Moroccan Pavilion was in all traditional white tones with greens and moss as an accessory. The guests were surrounded by panoramic views of the canyon, near a serene reflection pond and mature trees. The reception... Read More

Amanda and Matthew’s Wedding

What a beautiful wedding at The Montage Hotel and Spa in Laguna Beach! Amanda and Matthew’s wedding was coordinated by Mindy Weiss and was filled with gorgeous Revelry details like our famous flower wall, white banquettes, shabby chic furniture and mirrored Paris tables! The seating arrangement on the lawn turned out to be simply beautiful and created a comfortable social setting. There were an abundance of flowers at the ceremony! Thousands of fully bloomed white roses and orchids covered branches with the ocean as it’s backdrop, creating layers of texture and beauty. Lei’s dripped from all of the floral trees and the aisle was flanked on both sides with more white roses than we’ve ever seen on one aisle before!... Read More
